Reply To: Has anyone tried the Kenwood from Costco?

I ordered it, on the amazing 2 days special promotion. I have had a Kenwood Chef for years so I thought the bigger Kenwood would be great for more dough. But, like the other mixers, the dough still creeps up the dough hook, so doing a batch of 4 at once requires babysitting, to frequently pull down the dough. This week I divided the dough, and it was great – but the whole point of the 7L bowl was to do it all at once. Besides creeping up the dough hook, the design is weird, and the dough creeps over the ledge of the top plate, and there is a hole it seeps through as well. This means cleaning around the tool socket afterwards.  So, I am disappointed, I suppose there is a reason it is $357 not $650. Not sure if I will keep it at this time
