So sorry to hear about your mixer. This is a casualty we did not anticipate or desire for this work. A couple of comments.
Don’t forget you get a $100 discount on the Ank. That doesn’t mean it is cheap, but it is $100 less. Plus they donate another $100 to the non-profit. And you will be able to mix 5-6 loaves, depending on the formula you select.
I have no experience with the Kenwood at Costco, many years ago, I had a Kenwood. And I have to say I thought it was a really solid machine. But I never put it to this kind of Breader Together test.
