Sustainable Food Fest – Tabling Volunteers Needed

Tacoma Bakers! We’ve been invited to set up a table at the UPS Sustainable Food Festival, which is highlighting local community farmers and sustainable food practices. This opportunity will be a chance to introduce Community Loaves to students and faculty, and share samples of our baked items. A great way to recruit new bakers to our baking brigade!
The organizers are expecting 100-200 people, so we will have enough samples of our Energy Cookies and slices of our bread to pass out. A separate volunteer task has been created for those who would like to bake the sample items (link: https://communityloaves.org/volunteer-signup/?id=Y2YrYlU0OWNRWkVCRlhucWFFbVkxWldCODV5MlRuRWtOQ0M3TndTZ1lEYmNpbEw4WVVDWFA5Um4zU0dqbWN3Kw==), and coordinate handing them off to the tabling volunteers.
We are looking for two or three volunteers to set up and tear down our table, and staff it during the event. We will provide you with all tabling needs other than the baked items, which we hope another couple of volunteers will provide. Set up begins at 4pm, the event runs from 5-7pm, and then you have an hour to break down the table after. There is free parking onsite.
