I was able to buy “turbinado raw cane sugar” from Trader Joe’s but had to shop around as it was out at the first TJs I went to. The crystals are larger and brown compared to the organic cane sugar from Costco. I wasn’t able to find the “raw sugar” at the Shoreline Costco last week (comes in a dark brown bag, I have purchased in the past and the sugar crystals are large and brown).
At Costco this morning I found Organic Cane Sugar – unrefined. Is this unrefined sugar interchangeable with raw sugar? The percentage of molasses seems higher.
