I am new to community loaves and I imagine this has been explained elsewhere, just couldn’t find it in the forums.

Is it possible to get a list of the cookie base ingredient amounts?  Since the ingredients are readily available here I would much prefer to purchase them locally in larger amounts, organic if possible, make my own base, support local sources, and reduce carbon footprint of delivery.

      Thoughts?

        Helen,

You are correct in your assumption and I like your suggestion. We will be sure to refresh the recipe to indicate the base is available through the flour store.

        Welcome to Community Loaves!

I’ve baked bread, but it was a while ago, and I logged in today to look at the new-to-me cookie recipes. When I looked at the Energy Cookie (1 batch) recipe, it refers to ‘Cookie Base’ and lists a large number of varying ingredients, and how much total of this base to use, but doesn’t say how much of each of the ingredients, like the recipes normally do.

My guess is that we’re supposed to buy the Cookie Base from you? (I can’t tell, as the ‘shop’ section of this website is currently down.) If I am having this confusion, then others certainly will. Please modify the Energy Cookie recipes to explain where we’re supposed to get ‘Cookie Base’ from, since it doesn’t show individual quantities for that section. Thank you.
