Update, I went back to US Foods/Chef’s Store to buy and the price has increased to $24.55 for a 25 lb. bag of whole rolled oats. That works out to $0.982/lb. or $0.613/ounce.
US Food as of yesterday 04/27/22 has 25 lb. bags of Bob’s Red Mill Old Fashioned Rolled Oats for $20.85 (.052 per oz.)
I just placed an order with the Bellevue PCC Community Market for $24.99 (less 10%) for a 25 pound bag of conventional (not organic) rolled oats. This works out to about $0.90/pound or $0.056/ounce, which is a very nice price! Oatmeal will keep for a year in a cool dark place. You need to special order, but they’re happy to have the business.
