As an alternative to the printed scrapers in the future, a raised treatment like on this KAF scraper could avoid the issue altogether.

I had the same thing happen this last weekend. If you don’t mind losing the CL logo, here’s the steps to easily remove the red ink:

        1. Make a paste with a tiny bit of water and some baking soda, Bar Keeper’s Friend, or Kosher salt.
        2. With the soft side of a barely damp sponge, gently scrub the logo for a minute or two. Rinse. Repeat if needed.

Other than a very light tint, the red should be gone and no longer bleeding. The gold ink or foil doesn’t appear to bleed and the scrubbing doesn’t affect it much.

Yes! This is happening, sadly. We won’t be using that company again, obviously. If you would like a refund, please send a request to orders@communityloaves.org. We’ll make that happen.

Has anyone else had the ink fade/run off their bowl scraper?
