Mission Statement
Serve Spokane was conceived in early 2005 when  a group of people looked at the difficulties people in our community were experiencing as jobs became more scarce, the cost of living soared and families and individuals were hard-pressed to keep up financially.
Our Food Pantry and Clothing Bank combined give out more than 35,000 pounds of food and 1,500 pounds of clothing and household goods each month.

About Our Pantry
  • Our food pantry serves an average of 1,400 people each month giving out approximately 30,000 pounds of food.  We strive to provide fresh fruits and vegetables and other nourishing food for those individuals and families in our area working to stretch already limited budgets. At this time we are doing drive through or walkup distributions.  In addition to our regular pantry services, in partnership with 2nd Harvest, we operate The Emergency Food Assistance Program (TEFAP) and the Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP-Senior Boxes) as well as Bite to Go Meals for kids in our local schools.
