We will be eligible fro Microsoft matching donation is 2022 once we can get approved with Benevity. The key there is our own 501c3 charter. Currently we are a tax favorable organization through a fiscal sponsorship by a private 501c3 foundation. Benevity doesn’t recognize the private foundation. They want us to have our own. Frankly, so do we. The filing went in last May. Like so much in this time of pandemic it is taking time, but we should hear from the IRS first quarter of next year.
This will be a great boost to our work!
I noticed in my dashboard that my time donation is also being tracked. Has anyone verified if this donation of time can be matched via Microsoft matching for volunteer hours?
