      Tina,

The next flour order deadline is November 26, and delivery is the next week, so if you need flour before the 21st donation, you need to do the “emergency flour pickup” that was explained in an email from Katherine that she sent on the 8th.

As far as the formula, you use the regular Community Loaves Sandwich Loaf formula, and make them into 2oz rolls.  There is a second option for a roll formula, but I do not have that.  As for the cookies, the cookie formula has not been released yet.

      Hope this helps.

@Gerry, I plan to order flour, I’m just not sure how much yet because I don’t know how much will be needed for the holiday donations. I’m thinking I’ll have time to do both rolls/cookies and bread, but I need to calculate in how much flour I need for those bakes. I’ve also got a new mixer coming that has a higher capacity, so that factors into the order as well. I’ll look for the email and hope it comes soon so I can get my flour order finalized. I’d love to order a few 50-pound bags and be done, but I don’t have the storage capacity yet for that much flour. Thanks for your reply!

          Tina,

There should be an email coming out soon with all these questions answered.  Just a FYI, if you need flour, I’d order it.

I joined CL after holiday baking season, and I need some information to help me plan.

Are the roll/cookie donations just the special items or can we donate bread as well?

Is the roll formula available? My flour supply is low and I need to figure out if I have enough or if I need to beg a fellow baker for some extra. 🙂
