Sure – we’ll go with that this round.
I hope to provide printed labels next time. Rest assured we will have printed labels for the cookies!

Thanks! GregNovember 20, 2021 at 6:27 am #7139Katherine KehrliKeymasterThis starter reply was to a different post, actually an email. Losing my head, but in a good way!

Yes, that would be fine.

Keep us posted. Our starters are transitioning to the cooler weather. A little Rye flour can help a sluggish starter. And for all who might be following the forums. Stiring your starter mid day can help move the yeasties around. Professional bakeries sometimes deploy an “automatic” stirrer. Also, increasing the feeding frequency, to 2x a day can boost activity!

Shoot. That’s not right. I”ve not heard from others that this is an issue. You’re the first. In the past, I found there were tools at the Avery site for making adjustment and/or you might be able to make an adjustment through the printer tools on the PDF. One last idea is to see if a different Avery label # that is 9 to a page works.
I can play with this tomorrow and send you a different template if you think that will help. Too many meetings today to tweak, but I could do this tomorrow if you thought it would be helpful.

November 19, 2021 at 1:56 pm #7084Jeff JamesParticipantI’m trying to print the labels for Mauritzio Leo’s Soft Dinner Rolls. Each time, the label design comes out too high on the page and the top of the design prints above the die cut. Anybody else having this problem?
November 10, 2021 at 7:25 pm #6711Katherine KehrliKeymasterSorry Jessica, didn’t receive notice of your post, one of the reasons I want us to use the forums. Helps me track down issues!
Everyone I’m so thrilled that you are anxious about the dinner rolls. Information is coming out tonight or tomorrow. I’m having difficulty keeping up with all the great and challenging pieces of our growth. Food banks, hub coordinators, 8000 lbs of flour and I really want to bake! But here is the spoiler alert for you all who are using the forums!
You can take any of the existing Community Loaves formulas and work them into 60 g dough balls. Form as individual rolls or nestle them next to one another for pull aparts. You will package them, 8-10 rolls in a bag. Use the same bag and label. Alternatively, you can stretch your baking wings and bake Mauritzio Leo’s – Soft Dinner Roll, from the Perfect Loaf. We had this as an option last year. Folks loved the results. I will have a label for you to use that you can download and print at home.
November 10, 2021 at 7:13 pm #6710Jessica HaltermanParticipantI just sent an email to Katherine with the same question since hadn’t heard anything directly on the forum post. Hopefully more info coming soon!
