2022 Letter Carriers Food Drive!

The Thurston County Food Bank is recruiting drivers for the “The Largest One Day Food Drive in the country!”
“For more than 20 years, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) has conducted an annual nationwide food drive on the second Saturday in May. Using the unparalleled postal networks, letter carriers collect non-perishable food donations on that day as they deliver mail along their postal routes.” – National Association of Letter Carriers
We need individuals, 18+ years of age to drive along preassigned routes and collect food donations throughout Thurston County. Drivers must have their own vehicle and be donating their time and gas to the event. We ask that you drive with one other person, so feel free to invite your partner, friend, family, or co-worker! We also ask that drivers are able to lift up to 25lbs.
There is a morning shift and afternoon shift available. If you are interested in helping collect food for this event, please email Aryn, the Warehouse Volunteer Coordinator for the Thurston County Food Bank at wdcvolunteers@thurstoncountyfoodbank.org
